Standards & Approach

Built to be examined.

Storage assets live for decades inside other people’s jurisdictions — a landowner’s parcel, a utility’s distribution system, a municipality’s code. We build as if every file will be audited, because eventually it is.

Siting discipline.

We site where storage is permitted and build to local code. We would rather pass on a parcel than force one through.

Interconnection by the book.

Applications filed complete under the utility’s published interconnection procedures. No shortcuts. Built to the approved design, witness-tested, and operated within the permission granted.

Safety.

Installations are designed to applicable fire codes and standards, including NFPA 855 and local fire code. Coordination with the local fire authority is designed in from the first drawing.

Valuation and reporting.

Asset values established by independent appraisal under USPAP, on the income approach. Performance measured at the meter, unit by unit. Any factual claim we make traces to primary sources — NREL, LBNL, EIA, PJM, IRS — or we don’t make it.

Permanence.

We hold what we build. That changes how we build it: equipment selected for a multi-decade service life, sites left better organized than we found them, and one accountable counterparty from groundbreaking to decommissioning.
